Hello everyone. I attended my first meeting of the QCLUG on Tuesday and I
have met some of you. For the rest, I am a Linux Guru. I started with
Linux back with kernel version 0.92. I have used all of the big
distributions. Right now I'm running Ubuntu Dapper Drake.
My interest in the group is spreading the word about Linux. I want to find
ways we can help liberate people from Micro$oft Windoze. I look forward to
meeting more of you.
I have grabbed some stuff of of the Internet and created a small pamphlet on
how to change your system to boot from CD ROM. I have aimed it at
beginners. The idea is to be sure they can boot any free discs we give
out. Take a look and tell me what you think.

"The first step toward change is acceptance. Once you accept yourself, you
open the door to change. That's all you have to do. Change is not
something you do, it's something you allow."
