I Will be there tonight too.

i can demo aiglx/beryl too if anyone wants to see linux eyecandy . i have it
installed and working in ubuntu ( w/gnome ) and i it installed on gentoo
(w/kde) (snapshot build more features ) both use the open source ati driver
which is in default newer kernels and X ( at least in gentoo and ubuntu )

both are installed on a usb 2.0 harddrive and carefully boot from it ( i use
my /boot and dump there kernels and base files there , this is so they will
boot i had to rm usb 1.1 drivers for ubuntu to get usb 2.0 to work at 2.0 on
the drive ) part of this is to test ubuntu on my laptops hardware and the
other is to build a fully clean system of gentoo to dump onto my laptop (due
to mine being updateded between mainy gcc and libary versions ... )

got to figure out how ubuntu sets up my keyboard and extra keys , it gets my
laptop keys to work ( theres keys for sound up / down, music app ,
internet , email and search

if someone brings cd's i can burn ubuntu disks ( newest version )
