I have a friend who ran into this commonly with installing games under WINE.
In his case the problem wasn't with unmount/ejecting the disk to change to
the 2nd CD, it's that it was doing a CD check on the second disk. The only
way he could get the game installed is teh burn the disk with a no-cd check
hack. If you don't mind saying, which game are we talking about?

I'm trying to install a game in wine that has 2CD's. When the install asks
for the second CD, that's the end. Various combinations of 'mount' and
'umount' didn't get anywhere. Should I use some kind of automounter? I'm
only asking on the off chance someone in the group has or is using wine and
has run accross this situation.

The game is "Apocalyptica", but it could just as easily be "Diablo II". I'm
only trying it to see how far along wine is. It would defeat the purpose if
I had to hack something just to install a game. So far, nobody is suggesting
that automounters are dangerous. If nobody does, I'll probably try one just
for grins.
