i got this message on cisco's website ( taking cisco 1 )

its a notice for system maintence for there sites. notice the keyword linux 
below .

Cisco is conducting a significant refresh of the Academy program systems 
infrastructure to improve stability and support the next generation of the 
Networking Academy program.

The most notable changes are as follows:

    * All server, storage, and networking equipment will be replaced.
    * The operating systems for our primary systems will be migrated to LINUX 
and the database software will be upgraded.
    * Platform hosting will be relocated to the new Cisco Data Center.
