[QCLUG] Will I have to reinstall Fiesty Ubuntu?

It's always best to do a reinstall just to make sure that any news features
get installed correctly. On the other hand it's not really required. I plan
to just do the dist-upgrade through the update manager. As far as keeping
installed programs you'll for the most part just need to back up your /home
folder and i recommend http://aptoncd.sourceforge.net/ for backing up
installed programs... aptoncd will read your local apt-cache and burn those
files to a cd/dvd. It comes with a nice little GUI that will allow you to
quickly reinstall those programs without having to redownload everything.
