[QCLUG] KDE 4 on OS X

I just found that the KDE 4.0 alpha already will compile and run
natively on OS X.  Also, that since qt4 is expected to run on Windows,
there is an effort to port all of KDE to Windows.  Personally, I think
this is great, but what are the opinions from the rest of the group?
Do you see this as "anti-opensource" or reaching out to another
platform?
