I switched to Qwest DSL in April after my Mediacom cable bill got
jacked up another $8 per month. I had some fits and starts with the
modem, but once I had all the filters in place in my house, and got a
UPS for the modem and my firewall computer, and did not have the line
from the wall to the modem going through the surge surpressor in the
UPS it has been running at 3.5Mb ever since and I can't complain.
