Windows ME 2 =3D Vista
and no , it would be better to learn to program on anything but windows.
i have vista but not wanting to install , it took to long to load from DVD =
on=20
a machine with 4-gb ram. honestly the only os it compares to is wndows ME .=
=20
honestly all they need is the 2000 interface maybe with options for eyecand=
y.
my class got to see a vista laptop the teacher got the thing to lock up jus=
t=20
by clicking threw menus , the system used about 1gb/1.5gb ram and was=20
allready useing 900 mb swap file ( whch i dont understand ) this was just=20
booting into the system.=20
well if dell makes money the domino's will all fall. hp , gateway will all=
=20
follow. i wonder though would we start seeing apps being ported if that=20
happened pretty fast or um ... I wonder also how many companies have linux=
=20
software and is just not releasing it ? like waiting for microsoft not to=
=20
be able to threaten them .=20
