I'm a student at blackhawk and I have asked around all ready its very
possible to
have a room, i would have to work out parking to but should not be an
issue in the evening
because the college gets empty. ( just have to have a way for security
to know not to issue tickets)
also from what i gathered we do not have to become part of black hawk
college in order to meet there
atip is not part of blackhawk and meets in blackhawk and WIU

What time to get a room , keep second Tuesday of the month? (
12-11-2007 6:30-10:00 )
would anyone else be able to make it on a different day ( that will
not effect current members )

i think this could open up some new ideas.

we can do demos and attract a crowd
*we could do a demo day during the colleges pc repair day ( fix pc for
free ) i was there 12 hours last time .....
we can do live (on a Linux box) answers to question on days we have
time for them ( i would like to do X can anyone show me how tonight )
we can do more demoing and be in an environment where we can hear each other
(* the pc repair day is advertised in the school and on radio / tv ...
add a linux demo day to that might have a big turn out
its hold twice a year )
might be possible to be able to use class pc's with swapable hard
drives that can have Linux installs on them and vga projector access
for demos and impress presentation
and im sure many more ideas
