[QCLUG] I'm Getting Back On The Horse

I don't know how to use the command line well enough to do many of the
things I need to do so I want to use the normal mode. Think that is
called a GUI? Anyway, sometimes I just can't figure out how to do it
any other way so I log in as Root and do what I need and then get back
out. I suspect that "sudo -s" or "sudo su" will only allow me to stay
as root as long as I stay in the terminal. Is there any way to use the
GUI as Root without logging in as Root?

I'll read your reply from Kubuntu :-) . I have moved everything off my
data drives and formatted them as ext3 and just wanted to check my
e-mail one last time before I install Kubuntu. I'm putting it in it's
own box instead of making poor old R2-D2 share with him. The computer
he is taking over is named Tiger. This is probably the first time in
history that a Penguin Killed A Tiger :-) .

Thanks for the information.
