[QCLUG] It still won't write to the disk

This is a puzzlement as the King said in "The King and I".  My backup drive 
is /media/sdc1 (which is called BackupDrive) and it is an ext3 drive.  I now 
have both the user and group set to robert.  I go into ARK and find the 
BackupDrive.  I then create a directory called ArcBackup and then a 
subdirectory to that called FullBackup.  I then in the "Location" field at 
the bottom of the window I put FullBackup and click "Save".  I get a message 
that says "You do not have permission to write to the 
directory /sdc1/ArcBackup/FullBackup".  I just don't understand since I am 
the user and the group how this can be.  Any help would be greatly 
appreciated.
