Jim K, Well then I'd think there just might be an Eeepc at the next lug
meeting. When would that be? First tue. at Panera?
Culley, I have a 16 gig sdhc card for mine, had ubuntu running on it in a
dual boot set up with Xandros on the 4gig and ubuntu on the 16gig. But
ubuntu would get flakey after the machine ran for a while. I'm not sure if
it was a heat issue, the fact that it was a sdhc card (asus doesn't
0fficialy sanction sd"hc" cards) or just the operator. So since I was
rarely even booting to Xandros I stuck Ubuntu on the 4 gig drive and have
been happy ever since. If you haven't found http://www.eeeuser.com/ yet,
check it out. It has a great wiki for tweaking Xandros and installing other
OS's. I found eeexubuntu and ubuntu how to's there and many other distro's
too, was a great resource for me. brent
