I've been playing with Kubuntu 8.04 Beta on my laptop and tried
VirtualBox and some other stuff hoping I could get rid of Vista. I don't
like VirtualBox so will just have to do a dual boot after all. Oh, Well.
Maybe later. I still have a couple of things to look at to see if they
work with my GPS or not but my hopes aren't high. Anyway, I will be
setting the laptop back up with 7.10 (or waiting for 8.04 in about a
month) and need some advice. After my Window Vista is shrunk as far as I
can take it I have 65 GB to put Kubuntu in. When I set it up I want to
have the "/", "/home" and or course the "swap" on separate "drives".
How much of the 65 GB should I assign to the "swap" and "/"? I don't
want to crowd them but I don't want to wast space either. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Have A Great Day
