[QCLUG] Partitioning Hard Drive

Thanks to everyone. I decided to go with 3 GB of swap and 22 GB for "/" 
and am in the process of installing Ubuntu 8.04 Beta. I had lost my 
sound somehow and couldn't get it back. Also I didn't like KDE4 and just 
wanted rid of it. I think I'll give Gnome a good try and see how I like 
it. I'll probably go back to KDE sometime but I want to play until the 
stable release comes out and then I'll do it all over again just for the 
FUN of it :-) .  I have pretty well given up on the VirtualBox idea. I 
didn't like it anyhow.  I am in the process of researching GPS software 
that works with Linux and if I can't find what I want I'll look for 
another GPS that will work with it. Then I can just dump Vista.  Thanks
