[QCLUG] Partitioning Hard Drive

Just my 2 cents, but i have found it to be EXTREMELY (note the
emphasis) helpful to make a seperate / and /home partition. If you
are like me, i switch distros once in a while, having your /home in a
seperate mount will make distro switches infinately easier, because
you dont have to worry about wiping your personal files. For example,
I just changed from Arch Linux to Ubuntu, and I was able to keep my
home directory intact, even though my root ( / ) was completely
formatted. Good luck!
